Vision: To build and maintain a mosque that develops and evolves with successful individuals through sharing faith, knowledge, and inspiration in this world and to be successful in the Hereafter. Mission: To establish and operate a mosque and a community for expatriates, migrants, and future generations, representing a community that ensures every individual has a sense of belonging. Brief History of Our Masjid: Masjid Al Falaah began its journey towards building a mosque on March 7, 2021. A community in Sydney, part of a larger Muslim community, initiated this project. We purchased a building at E3 zoning, located at 6 Melton Street, S, Auburn, 2144 NSW, at an auction on March 5, 2022, for $1,520,000. Other incidental costs were incurred in the acquisition of this mosque. Our Achievements; Our Masjid has successfully hosted two Ramadans in 2022 and 2023, uniting a significant portion of our community. With ample parking and a convenient location, just a 5-minute drive from the Gallipoli Masjid, we've made it easier for our community to come together. During the holy month of Ramadan, our community actively participated in the mosque's activities, including Khatmul Quran, Taraweeh salah, and iftar dinners for 30 days. We also organized a Hajj pilgrimage sent off from this local Masjid, building a united community within the sphere of this premises. Our Shariah Course: Our Shariah Course is designed to provide a deep and comprehensive understanding of the sacred sciences and their practical application in Islamic Shariah. It covers Hadith, Seerah, Tafsir of the Quran, Islamic Law (Fiqh), Usul of Fiqh (Principle of Fiqh), Nahu and Sarf (Arabic Grammar), Regular Quran Revision, and Usul Al Tafsir (Principle of Tafsir). Jumma Salah praying: Currently, around 200 people attend Jumma Salah at this Masjid every Friday. Future Development: ABCON is a consulting firm with over ten years of experience in design, civil, and structural engineering. They are currently working on our Masjid a development application for a place of Worship, with three floors and two basements for car parks.
Our Aim; We aim to promote unity, improve differences in our community's opinions, set a positive example for future generations, and support the underprivileged worldwide. We are firmly committed to working together for the betterment of our community and future generations. As part of our ongoing efforts, we plan to sponsor well-renowned scholars for educational purposes over time. Masjid's Future: As we look to the future, we envision our Masjid as a thriving hub of community life. With the support of our community, we aim to continue our educational programs, expand our facilities, and further strengthen our bonds of faith and friendship.
